paus is a streaming service dedicated to independent films. We do things differently, instead of adverts or set payments, we empower filmmakers to earn money directly from their fans through discretionary peer to peer micropayments (what we call ’tips’). Any film, any amount, any time… all on paus.

Best of all, we’re free for filmmakers to use and each filmmaker keeps 80% of everything they’ve earned. Our tipping technology is seamless and all live, which means filmmakers get 80% of their tips straight away and audiences can pay with a single click + facial recognition. We are available on iOS, Android and Web.

We are empowering independent filmmakers to monetise directly and fairly. Right now the average payment on paus is £12.50, which is more than a monthly subscription to Netflix and Amazon. Filmmakers can earn anywhere from £500 to £5,000+ in a single day, all for free, directly from their fans, all on the paus platform. We work with everyone from first time filmmakers through to Sir Ian McKellen and the Raindance Film Festival.
