Creative Skillset is passionate about promoting diversity, which remains a key focus within the Creative Industries.

Certain groups are still under-represented within the workforce, as highlighted in our research. For the Creative Industries to prosper and provide products that appeal to a wide range of audiences and consumers, we need a diverse workforce and the diverse range of skills that brings.

It is also a key focus of Creative Skillset's work and is woven into all our projects and funding.

On Hiive, the professional network for creative people, there is an area (known as a swarm) related to diverse drama talent. This is designed for talent from under represented groups who work in the scripted genres. It is a platform for talent to showcase their work and connect with other creatives. It is also a place where drama and other producers from the scripted genres can post jobs and find talent for their productions.
